- Easy to Maintain
Porcelain tile is incredibly easy to maintain. Typically, if any sediment or liquid gets on a porcelain tiles surface, it will all sit on top of the tile and won’t get absorbed by the tile itself. If there is a harder to clean mess, you can use a wide range of cleaners to remove any stains or build up that you may see. Also, aside from mopping, you can keep tile floors clean by using a vacuum with a soft brush or a broom to get any loose debris and dirt off the surface of the floor. Due to this fact, many people choose to put tile in their bathrooms, entry ways, and on their kitchen floors. Tile flooring is considered an affordable flooring option for most people.
Most of our tile at Eksa will cost between $4 to $8 per square foot; however, we do have some specialty pieces and heavy commercial flooring options that are generally more expensive. Tile on our lower end is generally considered suitable for residential and moderate commercial applications (like offices and cafes), while our more moderately priced lines are typically used in heavy commercial, institutional, or hospitality projects as they have additional properties that make them suitable for those environments.

Due to modern manufacturing practices, tile can be printed in a variety of aesthetically pleasing designs – CHECK OUT OUR VERSACE!! Tile can also be printed to reproduce the look of many varieties of hardwood and natural stones, and can be embossed with a variety of textural elements to give your finished project visual and textural appeal. Additionally, tiles themselves can be cut into a variety of shapes including hexagons, rectangles, triangles, and planks – all in a vast array of sizes to suit the space of any project.
- Temperature / Chemical Resistant & Incredibly Hygienic
Porcelain tile doesn’t typically possess chemically active properties, thus inhibiting the growth of viruses, and the development of mold, fungi and other bacteria on the tile surface or within the tile itself. Additionally, porcelain tile is unaffected by extreme temperatures and does not disintegrate or erode when exposed to chemical agents (severe cleaving products) or extreme weather (when installed on an exterior surface), making it an ideal surface in homes where health may be an issue.
