Our Company
Eksa is a tile distributor with its home base in Edmonton, Alberta.
Officially opened in July 2019, Eksa is continually growing and quickly becoming a well-known and trusted distributor both in and out of the Edmonton area.
Based on our belief that an effective business should be authentic and have a personal touch, our ownership creatively chose our company name by combining the first two letters of their children’s names – Ek & Sa! Also, one of our owners – a leader in the tile industry, has been in the business of tile for over 15 years; starting out as a tile setter before opening his first tile store in 2014, and he applies all of the knowledge he acquired during that time in creative and innovative ways to make our clients experiences with us as positive as possible.
We carry an extensive selection of porcelain and ceramic tile, and offer a variety of unique options for our customers to choose from, including high quality selections for floors and walls which can fit a wide range of budgets.
While Eksa is a display-only showroom, meaning that we do not sell to the general public, anyone is welcome to come in and view the selections we have displayed in our 6000 square foot showroom space. We sell only through our dealer / retailer network, but we are happy to facilitate your purchase through one of these trusted companies at any time while you enjoy a cup of coffee or tea in our lounge area.

Ekin
Manager and Order Desk
Ekin grew up in Edmonton, AB and graduated from the Faculty of Elementary Education at the University of Alberta in 2021.
Although she has her Alberta Teaching Certificate and loves working with children, Ekin decided that she wanted to switch from being an educator to furthering her experience in her family’s business – she is the EK of EKSA, after all!
When she’s not at work, Ekin loves to spend time with her dog Rocky, who is her first love. When she has the time she also enjoys reading books of poetry, autobiographical stories about people from all over the world, and works of romantic fiction. Her favorite book of late is “It Ends With Us” by Colleen Hoover.

Muharrem
Director of Sales
Originally from Turkey, Muharrem is a trained Archeologist and has worked on intriguing sites all around the world. After moving to Canada and working alongside our owner as a tile setter, Muharrem decided to continue working in the flooring industry and worked in a retail flooring store before finally finding his way to the Sales Director position at Eksa Tile. Muharrem still maintains his passion for Archeology, often sharing articles and photos with his colleagues of the various discoveries he has come across, and says that if he can’t be in the field uncovering centuries old frescos and mosaics in the dirt and rocks, working with tile is the next best thing.
